Where Do We Go?! You Decide!

Most of us have times that we have to be in the car with the kiddos. This is a good chance to talk about & practice direction and navigation skills.

Ask them what is the name of the road you are on? What way are we turning\going to turn? What direction are we moving? (Hint, look for the sun if it is up as a reference point.)

If you have the time, let them decide what turns you take. This is a great way to give them the sense of feeling\being in control and autonomy. (Which is really important after spending most of their days doing what & when other people tell them too.). #otwlearning #nopreplearning
