Let me introduce you to Phono: the phonics card game. This is a great way to play and practice reading, letter, sounds, and color recognition.

  • The Beginning Reader Deck includes CVC words (Bat, Cup, Zip, etc.) and some of the beginning irregular/heart words. It is a great game for kids learning their letters and beginning readers.
  • The Basic Deck includes word with short vowels, rhyming words, most common irregular/heart words, and some compound words. It has currently been played with students in 2nd through 6th grade.
