Outside The Walls:

Lately in the Northern Hemisphere many places have had the wonderful opportunity to see the Northern Lights.  Did you know the colorful display of lights are called Auroras.  If you are near the North Pole they are called aurora borealis but if near the South Pole they are called the aurora australis or the southern lights.  These are caused by the sun releasing energy and particles, which then interact with the gasses in our atmosphere. Oxygen gives off green and red light. Nitrogen glows blue and purple.  Were you fortunate enough to see the Northern Lights?
